One World – Interactive 2019
Virtual worlds are continuously expanding. The most recent application of VR to art is diverging from traditional reporting and is taking on the genre of historical reconstruction. Its creators bring viewers into historical events with stunning new methods, such as shouting or moving their heads, or even putting them into manic or shamanic visions. These new “helmet” worlds are no longer mere experimental fads, but have become a medium with a unique place in the current audio-visual environment.
