Expanded: Interfaces of Reality @ Imagine Fantastic Film Festival 2024

Launched in 1984, Imagine is the largest film festival for fantastic film and XR in the Netherlands, showcasing the best works which explore the world through the framework of fantasy and imagination. Imagine is a home for fantasy, science fiction, horror and all other stories which look beyond mere realism. Every year we try to challenge our audience to think through the imagination about the future of people and society. We identify new talent, present new work by established makers and show classics and forgotten gems. Our XR section was launched in 2017 and we continuously stay committed to providing the best possible platform for immersive works to find their audience among the general public.
