On November 11, 1918, in the middle of a trench, Sergeant Broulard is seriously injured. History may well be about to change before his eyes. A telegraph operator returning from the front just had time to catch a message: a peace treaty had been signed that morning. They must launch an attack, but the rumor is spreading and it is up to the troops to make the final decision. One that will perhaps lead them on the road to peace.
