Downfall of the Virtual Human(Part1&2) is a multimedia and VR work that satirically depicts the rise and fall of Mizzy, a popular virtual woman who became the target of Korea’s “Claw hand” controversy. The work explores how virtual female bodies are easily consumed, sexualized, and discarded online. Part 1 chronicles Mizzy’s creation, fame, and collapse, while Part 2 invites participants to embody future humans on a VR journey through her fragmented memories. Mizzy’s final mechanical monologue from The Seagull echoes across time, as she survives not in erasure but as lingering data in a world shaped by digital violence.
