Now in its 12th year and having run over 20 festival events.
FIVARS is an award-winning hybrid location-based and webXR media festival that premieres, discovers, and showcases stories and narrative forms from around the world using immersive technology, including:
- Virtual & Augmented Reality
- Live VR Performance (Theater & Dance)
- Projection Mapping
- Spatialized Audio
We are considered Canada’s first dedicated virtual or augmented reality stories festival, and were the world’s first virtual reality festival dedicated completely and exclusively to narrative pieces.
