Description
Step into the world of Dutch Virtual Reality (VR) with From Our Own Soil – The Best of Dutch VR: a carefully curated selection of four remarkable VR experiences that showcase how creators from the Netherlands are pushing the boundaries of the medium.
From intimate memories of a lost childhood (Lacuna), part of the official VR competition at the Cannes Film Festival, to a poetic audiovisual journey about transformation and letting go (The Art of Change), featuring hypnotic visuals and music by DROELOE. From a contemplative reflection on humanity (8 Miljard Ikken), with music and sound design by Spinvis, to a moving VR tale about childhood, loss, and the healing power of imagination (The Imaginary Friend).
In these diverse stories, technology and emotion meet. Each work immerses you in a unique world of experience, where imagination, meaning, and humanity take center stage.
Discover the power of immersive storytelling — from our own soil — that will stay with you for a long time.
