See Me is an exploration of female body reclamation. Put on the headset and enter the subconscious mind of a woman. Experience the subtle, subliminal mind control of a patriarchal society. Become aware of the media-enforced gas-lighting, comments from co-workers, moms, bystanders…feel the endless stares. Realize the shame and fear that have been attached to the feminine body. And then witness the ascent. Through a collective journey of self-exploration, each woman in See Me experiences what it is to be alive in her own skin, to take up space in the world, to defy the status quo, to demand to be seen as an equal human.
