In the 23rd century, humanity is emerging from centuries of disruption and imbalance, an era remembered as The Great Delusion. In a world largely operated by automation and artificial intelligence, humans have drifted from a sense of collective purpose and are now seeking new horizons.
The discovery of life on exoplanets beyond our solar system has sparked a global awakening and a renewed desire to look outward, to connect, to explore. Life seeks out life. To meet this calling, the international initiative known as HEXO is born — a bold effort to make interstellar exploration a reality, and to offer humanity something it has long lacked: a unifying vision for the future.
HEXO’s most promising target: Arcadia (Ross 128 b), an exoplanet located 11 light-years away in the Ross 128 system. Over the centuries, HEXO has led a series of interstellar missions, gradually laying the groundwork for Cosmopolis — an orbiting city built to study Arcadia and prepare for eventual surface habitation.
From this great endeavor, a new branch of humanity is set to emerge — one that will carry forward the story of our species, and lay the foundation for a new civilization among the stars.

Guests begin their journey in the 25th century, departing from HEXO Spaceport One at AREA15 in Las Vegas. After boarding the Interstellar Arc spaceship, they enter cryogenic sleep and awaken 262 years later as they approach their final destination. In the gravity-defying environment of the spaceship, passengers reconstruct memories and rediscover their purpose as explorers of a new world.
