Synopsis
I died on Facebook is a digital artwork that challenges our traditional perceptions of death and identity in the age of social media. The work is presented as an interactive gaming experience set in a digital cemetery. This virtual cemetery is populated by virtual tombstones, each representing a memorialised profile on the social media platform Facebook.
