Sönke Kirchhof

Sönke Kirchhof is Founder, CEO & Creative Director of award-winning XR Studio INVR.SPACE GmbH with its Headquarter in Berlin and Branches in Munich and Hamburg. He studied Political Science at the University of Hamburg and Film and TV Production at the Film University Babelsberg „Konrad Wolf", which he graduated with distinction. He has been working in XR, stereoscopic film production, VFX and CGI post-production as well as Research and Development in arts and technology for more than 25 years. He is also founder of reallifefilm international GmbH and the Immersive Distribution Brand Virtual Content Group. He is involved in international coproductions with multicultural partners producing state-of-the-art immersive experiences with social impact.

Sönke is highly engaged as a Juror for Awards and Curator of Content as well as speaker at international festivals and institutions, lecturer in Universities all over the world and member in regional and international XR associations (Vice President XR4EU, Treasurer EDFVR and Board Member of the Alumni Association of Filmuniversity Babelsberg, among others) to increase the visibility of the XR industry and build international relationships.
