Go deeper into the distribution and curation of immersive works with Sheffield Doc/Fest

With Creative England, the avant-garde documentary festival Sheffield Doc / Fest is organizing 4 workshops about the XR market and how to package “your completed VR and AR work for curators and planning an effective market and exhibition strategy for your work”.

This program – online and free of charge – will invite key industry professionals to discuss the following topics:

  • Wednesday 12 August // Programme Introduction, Project Packaging & Exhibition Strategizing
  • Thursday 17 September // Curating Virtual & Augmented Reality (Galleries & Art Institutions)
  • Wednesday 14 October // Curating Virtual & Augmented Reality (Festivals)
  • Wednesday 11 November // Collecting & Archiving Virtual & Augmented Reality

How to register

This programme will span over 4 sessions and will consider the longevity of VR and AR content and its potential impact on business growth. Looking at what commissioners and investors look for in these modern art forms, the realities and challenges of VR and AR reaching wider audiences, exhibition in a wider art world and how the future of VR and AR has the potential to challenge traditional forms of market trade.
