Andy Serkis is the voice of MONSTRORAMA, a Mixed-Reality Game premiering at Tribeca 2023

Astrea and ATLAS V today announced Andy Serkis, the award-winning actor, director, and producer, will narrate the Tribeca festival-bound narrative Mixed Reality game, MONSTRORAMA.

The Mixed Reality project takes players on a tour of the secret museum, MONSTRORAMA, built by The Collector, voiced by Serkis. In this museum thousands of miles underground, players encounter monsters from the Kraken to the Vampire, from the Werewolf to the Tingler, a parasitic monster that feeds on players’ fear, also voiced by Serkis.

It has been an exciting challenge to produce MONSTRORAMA, a project that combines strong storytelling with the latest innovative Mixed Reality features. We are delighted to premiere the experience at Tribeca. This will be the first chapter of a game based on creativity… and a lot of monsters. It was a real thrill for Andy Serkis to perform the voices of our dueling narrators. His sensitive approach for portraying complex and unique characters in fantasy worlds makes him the perfect narrator for Monstrorama.

Oriane Hurard, Producer

Serkis, known for his performances as Gollum in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Caesar in the Planet of the Apes saga, and as the titular monster King Kong, returns to the world of monsters—a world he is familiar with and excels in.

Monstrorama is just the most magical immersive story. This project is a real leap forward as it really does contain both worlds.

Andy Serkis, Narrator

SYNOPSIS

The secret museum Monstrorama was built by the Collector, a mysterious and extravagant man whose face no one has ever seen. Few people have the chance to visit his museum. To get there, you need to go into a parallel universe, another dimension where our world coexists with that of the monsters. Once you enter the portal, the museum comes to you, melding with your real environment.

Your room transforms into a giant elevator that takes you thousands of miles underground, where the monsters lie, from the Kraken to the Vampire, each more terrifying than the next. During your journey, you will also encounter the Tingler, a one-of-a-kind creature, a little parasite monster that clings to your wrist and feeds on your fear.
