Synopsis
After her father died in 2023, artist Noa Jansma began to consider how his buried body is turning into soil and being absorbed into the planet's metabolism. With her brother Mas, a biologist, she filmed the microbes in his grave and recorded their sounds. Visitors watch the installation lying on a rug, and can taste root vegetables grown in that soil and fermented with its microbes.
