Save the date for Stereopsia 2020 – and Stereopsia Online!

Mixing physical and digital event, Stereopsia – the friendliest XR event – is fully prepared for the new XR world!

The XR Brussels-based event STEREOPSIA just launched its call for projects/entries/papers 2020, and is not going to slow down due to the worldwide health crisis. Providing new services with STEREOPSIA Online, we may have 4 reasons to attend their online conferences before December’s “in real life” edition. And another Lumiere awards!

Answer the calls

December 14-15-16 / The Booster, now in its 4th edition, is an international training and pitching event dedicated to immersive narrative projects.

The Booster was the first program of its kind in the world. It is designed to help independent producers that have projects for innovative XR content to give an impulse to these projects. It can help these producers to find financing and to reach their market and audience. Contents can be films, XR, 360°, etc., all with a 3D stereoscopic flavor. (link)

December 15-16 / On behalf of The Advanced Imaging Society based (AIS) in Hollywood, Stereopsia organizes – for the 9th consecutive year –  the competition for the “Lumiere Awards” for the territory consisting of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

The best contents will receive a golden Lumiere statuette during the remarkable registration-only Awards dinner & ceremony on 16 December 2020. Winning a Lumiere Awards gives the content and the content creators immediate recognition globally as they are recognized by an international community of experts, and have a chance to be nominated for the Hollywood Lumiere Awards of the following year. December 14 / STEREOPSIA includes, among its many activities, the International Conference on 3D Immersion (IC3D). Now in its 10th edition, IC3D consists in a series of presentations (oral or poster) of the papers submitted by authors and accepted after evaluation by reviewers. As for all previous editions, we expect this IC3D to be technically co-sponsored by the Signal Processing Society of the IEEE, the “world’s largest technical professional association for the advancement of technology”, and its proceeding to be archived in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, thereby providing maximum visibility to the authors and their papers.
