Synopsis
Songs for a Passerby is a virtual reality opera that evokes our fragile relationship with the ephemeral nature of reality. How do we position ourselves in a world where everything passes by? Are we actors or mere observers? Songs for a Passerby speaks of melancholy.
In a poetic and musical landscape, the visitor is invited to meditate: to step outside reality in order to better question it. Am I missing out on moments, or are moments passing me by?
Songs for a Passerby received the Venice Immersive Grand Prize at the 2023 Venice Film Festival.
